red...all I ever see
red...the colour of love

of passion and deepest agony
red...how I adore you
       my angel of desire

my promise of one last faithful
       kiss
carried by the wings of hunger
       and lustful prayer
red...how much I crave this colour of a grave

red...all I ever see

all I ever feel
red on my dress
red on my hair
red on lips
     on my fingertips
and my eyes are pools of blood
two drying oceans of velvet red
red...how much I crave this colour of the grave
I would die
for the taste of red blood vine
and scarlet bread
for sweet honey painted red

red...all I ever know
Red on my name
red on my hands
red on my cheeks
red on my tears
red on my dreams
and my eyes are two setting suns
a pair of dying stars of hunger and fear

red...all I ever see
red...stretched across the fabric of my memory
       my mind is blind
       throbbing with flashes
                 with veins of blood

I remember the forest (heavy footsteps in the dark...)
I remember the trees (heavy breaths in the night...)
                       and those screams
                       of love, passion, agony
and then...the red paper tore and her screams were no more
                       and...
I remember the red on my teeth

I decided to write few poems inspired by classic fairy tales and this is my first attempt of doing so. Also it needs further comment from me. Well listen, children and listen well: Many years ago in land far far away in the night of the full moon one young girl met a terrible fate on her way to dear old grandmother´s house. She met a werewolf in the dark of deepest forests. He attacked her and tried to eat her alive for werewolf´s curses run deep and infect you with terrible and insatiable hunger for flesh and blood. But the girl was brave and not that stupid to walk through the woods without a sharp sting so she managed to kill the creature with her blades. It was too late of course. The beast buried its teeth deep into her forearm and its poisons mixed with her young fresh blood almost immediately. All alone in the middle of the forest she transformed, her body changed into the shape of a monster from fairytales and legends. Her mind grew numb with hunger. Only one human memory remained in her wretched and twisted brain. Go to your grandmother´s house. Go. Go. So she went. Her new body ached with horrible hunger and longing that only blood and flesh can erase. For a while. Go. Go. And forth she went. To her poor grandmother´s house. And there she ate the old woman alive and thus the curse was fulfilled, sealed until the end of the world. For it is told by wise folk: If the cursed human eats his own flesh and drinks the elixir of his own blood he or she shall remain cursed forever. And tell my one example of wise folk being wrong.

Woah O.O this is intense! Amazing! It's from the wolf perspective isn't it?
